CFA Unveils Top Cats for the 2016-17 Show Season

The wait is over and the results have been tabulated! The Cat Fanciers’ Association announces its best cats in the Championship, Kitten and Premiership competitive classes for the 2016-17 show season.

CFA’s Best Cat, Regions 1-9

CFA’s Best Cat in North America/Japan/Europe is GC, BWR, NW Velvetkist Designer Genes, a Cream and White Male Persian. He was bred and owned by Noralyn Heisig of Finksburg, Maryland.

“Gino” was named Second Runner-Up at the November 2016 CFA/Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat Litter International Cat Show.

CFA’s Best Cat in Premiership in North America/Japan/Europe is GP, NW Cinema’s Liberace of Calcat, a Copper-Eyed White Neuter Persian. He was bred by Blake Mayes and Dennis Adler and is owned by Cynthia Lewis, Constance Wardlaw, Joanne Hardeman, Deutsch, Ury of Acworth, GA.

Liberace was named Best-In-Show at the November 2016 CFA/Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat Litter International Cat Show.
