Cat Talk Awarded Numerous Awards in Annual CWA Contest

July 30, 2025

The Cat Writers’ Association, a group of cat-centric writers, artists, social media, photographers, videographers, and other communication experts, has announced their Certificate of Excellence winners in their 2025 Communications Contest. From their website “each Muse entry is reviewed by three professional CWA members and assigned points on ten criteria specifically designed for each category. The judges’ scores for each entry are then averaged. An average score of 90 or above qualifies that entry for a Certificate of Excellence. All the COE winners are automatically finalists for the Muse Medallion in that category, which will be awarded at the CWA Awards Banquet held during the Annual Conference on October 25, 2025 in Indianapolis.”

Cat Talk and CFA are the proud recipients of 14 certificates of excellence for articles and items published in 2024. Curious about Cat Talk and CFA’s winning submissions? Take a look at the list below, and click on each piece’s link to view.
