Complete information is on the flyer, available here: https://cfa.org/wp…/uploads/2026/09/BAOS-December2026.pdf

The classroom portions will be held Thursday and Friday. Thursday covers general ring management, book marking, and much material regarding feline structure, colors, and patterns.  Friday, we’ll break into two classes for the longhair and shorthair portions. (note: Siamese and Oriental breed for the shorthair portion of the school will be discussed Thursday)
The handling portion of the school will take place in the show hall on Sunday.

Who Can and/or Should Attend a BAOS?

It is a requirement for any judging program applicant to attend a BAOS within 2 years prior to their application of either specialty. Also, current judges may attend the first two (classroom study) days for continuing education points.

PLUS: it is a great opportunity for ANY cat fancier to learn more about CFA’s breeds. (so no, you don’t have to be planning on entering the judging program to attend)

LOCATION: Delta Hotel (classroom portion)
200 North Centennial Way, Mesa, Arizona, USA, 85201

Note: the Delta Hotel does NOT accept pets.
