The CFA policy statement on the breeding of domestic and non-domestic cats as amended February 2015 reads as follows:
The Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc., does not encourage or promote the breeding of non-domestic (wild) cats of any species to any domesticated cats.
It is the policy of The Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc. to promote equal participation without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin or disabilities.
